StreetWise Partners Champion Award

Tom Patrick, CEO of Deutsche Bank in the Americas, accepted the 2018 Champion Award on behalf of Deutsche Bank at StreetWise Partners’ annual benefit, held on March 15 at The Metropolitan Club.

In accepting the award, Tom Patrick said that Deutsche Bank and StreetWise share a common goal of fostering greater economic mobility and enabling communities to prosper. He also commended bank employees for their civic engagement.

Deutsche Bank is the first corporate to receive this honor from StreetWise Partners, a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals to develop the tools, networks and confidence to access sustainable employment with upward mobility.

The Champion award recognizes the bank’s deep, longstanding support of the organization and the bank’s broader commitment to low-income communities.

Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation has partnered with StreetWise for over a decade and has served as a host for their career mentorship program since 2015. To date, the Deutsche-hosted program has changed the lives of over 200 mentees.

In addition to the many bank employees who volunteer as StreetWise mentors, two employees serve on the organization’s board.
