Honor for outstanding volunteer service
Deutsche Bank was recognized again by the City of New York as one of its most civically engaged businesses.
Since the pandemic began, nonprofits have faced even greater needs by the populations they serve, while health and safety protocols have required them to either shift to virtual opportunities or suspend projects indefinitely. Throughout the bank, employees pivoted to support their communities’ heightened needs and recovery efforts—earning another year of recognition from the City’s Mayoral Service Recognition Program.
This annual program is organized by NYC Service, a division of the Office of the Mayor that promotes volunteerism, engages New Yorkers in service, builds volunteer capacity and mobilizes the power of volunteers and national service members to impact New York City’s greatest needs.
Deutsche Bank has received this honor every year since the recognition program was launched in 2015. To be considered for recognition, companies had to demonstrate the impact of their employee engagement in New York City. Individuals were nominated by nonprofit organizations and city agencies where they completed at least 100 hours of service.
