Supporting hunger action and awareness
This September, Deutsche Bank again sponsored Food Bank For New York City’s Go Orange to End Hunger campaign, now in its 11th year.
The annual month-long program is a city-wide call to action for all New Yorkers to get involved in support of the 1.4 million City residents who rely on Food Bank and its network of soup kitchens and food pantries.
Throughout the month of September, Food Bank and its partners hosted various awareness, advocacy and fundraising events. Deutsche Bank employees took action as volunteers, contributing over 85 hours of service at the Community Kitchen & Food Pantry of West Harlem.
Deutsche Bank supports Food Bank and other charities in the fight against hunger year-round. Employees in New York and Jacksonville volunteer monthly with Food Bank For New York City and Feeding Northeast Florida, respectively.
In May, Food Bank for New York City honored Deutsche Bank as its 2016 Corporate Champion of the Year.
