Deutsche Bank recognized for commitment to addressing the complex needs of students in temporary housing
Deutsche Bank’s Alessandra DiGiusto received the Counseling in Schools’ Vision of Hope Award at the inaugural Measures of Hope Spring Benefit Concert.
On May 19, 2022, Counseling in Schools (CIS) held the Measures of Hope Spring Benefit Concert, a night of celebration and support for the power of creative arts therapy programs in schools.
CIS places mental health professionals in schools and homeless shelters to create and foster community-based relationships that enable New York City’s children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
CIS presented the “Vision of Hope Award” to Alessandra DiGiusto, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Americas and Executive Director at Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation, recognizing Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation’s continued commitment to supporting students in temporary housing with social and emotional support, particularly in the wake of the pandemic.
Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation recognizes the impact of housing instability on educational engagement, opportunity, and attainment, and supports high-impact nonprofit organizations like CIS that address the educational needs of homeless students and further their well-being through a coordinated continuum of resources and supports.
