We’re part of the fabric of UK society. By supporting local community, education, enterprise and environmental projects, we aim to have a positive impact for generations to come.
260,000 school kids see Shakespeare
Our Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank project provides state secondary schools with free tickets to live performances at the Globe Theatre in London. The productions are designed to help students understand the themes and language of plays on the GCSE curriculum. This project is part of our global youth engagement programme Born to Be, which aims to help young people reach their full potential.
20,000+ trees planted in Birmingham
Many of our employees contribute their time and skills to projects that protect and restore the local environment. How We Live is our global environmental impact programme. Volunteers from our Birmingham office have helped improve the landscape of the city by planting more than 20,000 trees over the past 10 years. Employees in London are also involved in creating spaces where nature can thrive, and people too.
400 creative startups supported
For 30 years the Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Entrepreneurs have helped creative thinkers in the UK launch and build businesses. Part of our Made for Good global enterprise programme, the project connects entrepreneurs who want to improve the lives of others to capital, training and mentors.
