Deutsche Bank Group in Japan Participates in Creating Flowerbeds in Yoyogi Park as Part of Environmental Impact Programme
Through our How We Live CSR environmental impact programme, we advocate for urban green space. We believe it is important to provide people living in cities with access to nature.
As part of this effort, 20 volunteers gathered at Yoyogi Park on a Sunday in April. Members of the NPO Research Institute of Forest Lifestyle gave a detailed lecture - such as an explanation of flowers, preparation before planting, including placement of fertilizer and soil, and actual arranging of flowers and cleaning up. Each group made 10 planters.
After the event, the flowers planted by the volunteers are said to be growing well. We are glad that we were able to cooperate with some of the greening efforts in Yoyogi Park, although it is a small effort.
