Deutsche Bank Group in Japan (Deutsche Securities Inc, Deutsche Bank Tokyo Branch, and Deutsche Asset Management “Deutsche Bank Japan”)’s active cancer awareness program and employee support measures have been recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's " Counter- Cancer Corporate Action (CCCA)" program, highlighting the company's commitment to promoting cancer control and taking care of its employees' long-term well-being.

The award acknowledges Deutsche Bank Japan's active internal cancer awareness program and employee support measures that aim to help employees through the difficult journey of cancer. As part of its commitment to cancer care, Deutsche Bank Japan has founded dbRibbons, an employee engagement group that provides a platform for employees to connect and share their experiences with cancer care in the workplace. Tomohiko Nakano, Branch Manager and COO of Deutsche Bank AG, Tokyo, and an executive sponsor of dbRibbons, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, "We are honored to receive this recognition from the CCCA program only a year and a half after dbRibbons was founded. Our goal with dbRibbons is to create a supportive community for our employees, where they can find peer support and inspiration to overcome any challenges that they may face. We believe that this program will continue to play an important role in supporting our employees' health and well-being."

Deutsche Bank Japan's recognition is notable as it is the first foreign financial company to receive the award, selected from approximately 4,500 promoting partner companies and organizations.
